Pakistan’s private ARY news channel taken off air for airing Imran Khan’s speech

Islamabad: Hours after Pakistan’s media controller prohibited broadcasts of expelled state leader Imran Khan’s discourses, the confidential television news station was taken off air on Monday for circulating his location daily prior. The Pakistan Electronic Media Administrative Power (PEMRA) Sunday night restricted satellite TV slots from communicating real time and recorded addresses of the 70-year-old previous cricketer-turned-lawmaker after Islamabad police neglected to capture him.
In the mean time, Khan on Monday moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the Pemra choice to banish all satellite Stations from broadcasting his discourses.
